In Episode 28, we explore the Stone, Nether, and End Dungeons to summon the Silverfish Mother boss. We head to the End City to find the ritual starter to summon the Mother Silverfish. To do this, put your Drygmy charms on a Mossy Cobblestone 5 or 6 blocks away from the boss and a chest plus a filled source jar beside it. If setting up automation is too difficult, Stoneblock 3 offers more action and adventure.
In a world of rock and stone, release your inner dwarf and build. The recipe for the Silverfish shards is 16 warm shards, 16 cold shards, 16 eggs, and the “catalyst: ritual starter”. The Mother Silverfish has several attacks, including stealing an item, healing the mother on attack, and summoning poison. To summon multiple Mother Silverfish, use the Stasis chamber to freeze her and leave her there until the Silverfish spawns.
In this episode, we find the dungeon and the big room with the altar, but we don’t know how to summon the Mother Silverfish. We hope to help others in their quest.

What Is The Mother Silverfish Mod?
Can I Crush Silverfish?
Effective Strategies for Eliminating Silverfish Infestations
Silverfish are persistent household pests that, while not harmful to humans, can cause significant damage to personal belongings such as papers, clothing, and books. Managing a silverfish infestation requires a multifaceted approach combining immediate action with long-term preventive measures.
Immediate Actions:
- Manual Removal: Quickly eliminate visible silverfish by carefully crushing them with a paper towel or shoe. However, be cautious as crushing them on light-colored surfaces can cause stains.
- Trapping: Utilize glass containers as traps by placing starchy foods inside and sealing the exterior with tape. Silverfish cannot climb glass, ensuring they remain trapped inside.
- Vacuuming: Use a HEPA vacuum to remove silverfish and their eggs from carpets, cracks, and crevices, preventing further reproduction.
Preventive Measures:
- Reduce Humidity: Silverfish thrive in moist environments. Use dehumidifiers to lower indoor humidity levels, making the home less inviting for these pests.
- Seal Entry Points: Apply caulking to cover cracks, holes, and openings in walls, floors, and around windows and doors to block entry routes.
- Proper Storage: Store food in airtight containers to eliminate potential food sources. Declutter areas like closets and basements to reduce hiding spots.
- Natural Repellents: Employ essential oils such as lavender, cedar, and citrus as natural deterrents. Soak cotton balls in these oils and place them in affected areas to repel silverfish.
Long-Term Maintenance:nMaintain a clean and dry environment by regularly vacuuming and addressing any moisture issues. Regularly inspect and maintain sealed areas to prevent re-infestation. Persistence and consistency in applying these methods are key to effectively eradicating silverfish from your home.
For severe infestations, consulting professional pest control services may be necessary to ensure comprehensive eradication and to implement more advanced treatment strategies.
Why Can'T I Spawn Silverfish?
In Minecraft, silverfish spawn from broken infested blocks found in strongholds and specific biomes, such as underground mountains, wind-swept hills, and in igloo basements or woodland mansion false portal rooms. Notably, if a silverfish block is destroyed in Creative mode or when the game's difficulty is set to peaceful, a silverfish will not spawn, as they are classified as hostile mobs. Silverfish cannot be spawned by breaking blocks with the Silk Touch enchantment.
Additionally, silverfish can be summoned through a specific spawn egg, which is exclusively available in Creative mode. These creatures can also emerge from monster spawners, which are typically located in strongholds. Silverfish spawn only when the light level is 11 or lower or from certain stone types, including stone, cobblestone, and stone bricks.
When a player breaks a silverfish block, the silverfish "teleport" into adjacent cobblestone blocks, effectively hiding or being removed. It is also possible to mine infected stone to trigger their spawn in a confined area. Gameplay mechanics allow for these mobs to be killed even while hiding behind blocks.
Silverfish spawners are primarily located in the end portal rooms of strongholds, and they have specific conditions under which they can spawn. To prevent silverfish from spawning altogether, players can fill the surrounding area around the spawner with solid blocks. Moreover, the entity ID for silverfish has been modified in certain updates, ensuring that they maintain their spawning mechanics.
Despite their association with strongholds, silverfish can indeed emerge in various locations, especially in mountain biomes where breaking specific blocks may yield multiple silverfish.
How To Fight Mother Silverfish?
To defeat the Mother Silverfish in Stoneblock 3, it's essential to choose the right strategy and equipment. As she cannot fly, utilizing a weapon like the SWRG from ProjectE is advantageous for maintaining distance. To inflict significant damage, Archangel's Smite is recommended, enabling rapid arrow shooting by clicking with enough EMC and combining it with ample redstone blocks. Preparing for the battle is crucial, as you must incorporate shards and eggs, placing the catalyst last - be ready for a tough fight.
Be cautious of the Thief Silverfish that can steal your sword, so bring extras. Your armor may be basic, lacking draconic alternatives from earlier Stoneblock versions. Ranged weapons are typically more effective, and refined obsidian gear offers strong protection. You need to defeat the Mother Silverfish four times to automate her aspects. After properly preparing the summoner materials to engage the Mother Silverfish, it’s time to confront her. Also, be aware of her various attacks: she can summon Thief Silverfish, which steal items, Leeching Silverfish that heal her, and poisonous variants.
Engaging in this dungeon-like world allows you to build and explore while honing your combat skills against these formidable enemies. Don’t forget to share your experiences after watching strategies in videos!
Does Mob Crusher Kill Mother Silverfish?
I have established a similar farm and discovered that the Mob Crusher from Industrial Foregoing does not eliminate the mother silverfish but will instantly kill any minions she spawns, sometimes while she is in stasis. To improve efficiency, I recommend constructing a large box around the altar, as the Mob Crusher may fail to kill Champion silverfish before they escape its killing zone. If automating the setup proves complicated, an easy and effective alternative is to enchant a bow, summon the Mother Silverfish, and shoot her from a height.
The Mob Crusher, a machine from Industrial Foregoing designed to kill mobs like a player, does not yield Mob Souls despite killing other mobs efficiently. Silverfish primarily spawn in extreme hills or strongholds and can be eliminated like any other mob. However, the Mob Crusher does not seem to affect them during testing. Alternative methods have also failed to eliminate the mother silverfish. For those seeking to minimize silverfish threats, using a Deadly World may be more effective than relying on Infernal mobs. Overall, constructing a protective enclosure and utilizing ranged combat can enhance silverfish management significantly.
How To Summon A Silverfish In Minecraft Pocket Edition?
In Minecraft Pocket Edition (PE) versions 1. 12, 1. 13, and 1. 14, the syntax to summon a silverfish is as follows: the optional spawnPos denotes the x, y, z coordinates where the silverfish will spawn; without it, the creature appears at the current location. An optional spawnEvent can specify a game event associated with the silverfish. In PE 1. 20, the command expands to: /summon silverfish (spawnPos) (yRot) (xRot) (spawnEvent) (nameTag). For example, to summon an angry silverfish in Bedrock Edition or Education Edition, use /summon silverfish ~ ~ ~ minecraft:becomeangry. In 1. 12. 0, 1. 13. 0, and 1. 14. 0, you can obtain a Silverfish Spawn Egg using the command /give @p spawnegg 1 39. Silverfish spawners occur naturally in end portal rooms within strongholds and spawn solely at light level 11 or lower. They emerge from infested blocks found in strongholds and specific biomes. In Creative Mode, players have access to spawn eggs to create silverfish, while in Survival Mode, silverfish can be found in locations like strongholds and mountain biomes. The silverfish will tunnel into stone blocks, turning them into Monster Eggs, making encounters challenging, especially since they can steal your weapon during fights.
Why Do Silverfish Hurt You In Minecraft?
Silverfish are hostile mobs in Minecraft that can inflict damage on players. This damage occurs when a player is in contact with a silverfish and there is a change in the Y-coordinate (elevation) of either the player or the silverfish. They spawn from broken infested blocks located in strongholds, mountainous regions, igloo basements, and woodland mansion false portal rooms. Players can avoid spawning silverfish by using the Silk Touch enchantment to break blocks.
Once attacked, silverfish can call forth more of their kind from nearby blocks, but only the existing ones in the world can emerge. Each silverfish possesses 4 hearts of health, equating to 8 health points; thus, players need to deal 8 points of damage to defeat one. Formerly, silverfish did not directly harm players but would push them around, creating potential hazards near lava or fire. Notably, when a player alters their Y-coordinate near silverfish, they will attack.
While they are not a serious threat, silverfish can be bothersome, particularly due to their ability to damage household items and their tendency to infest blocks. Their diet consists of starches and sugars, making them a nuisance in homes. To effectively combat silverfish, players may use any tangible weapon, though an enchanted sword is preferred, as it allows for quicker extermination without alerting more silverfish.
Who Kills Silverfish?
Silverfish infestations necessitate professional intervention. Engaging a local pest control expert allows for an assessment and a tailored treatment plan. Upon noticing signs of these pests, contact a pest professional immediately. Quick remedies include using silverfish baits and sprays, and leveraging natural repellents like citrus, cinnamon, and lavender, as silverfish dislike these scents. Essential oils can also serve as effective home fragrances or cleaning agents to deter them.
For those preferring a DIY approach, several effective methods exist. Reducing humidity with dehumidifiers is essential since silverfish thrive in moist environments. Natural insecticides, such as cedar oil or shavings, can repel them. Boric acid effectively dries out silverfish, while Diatomaceous Earth dehydrates them on contact.
Homemade traps can include wet newspapers or sticky traps. Commercial options include products like Yates Long Term Control Barrier Spray and Ortho® Home Defense MAX® Insect Killer to treat areas where silverfish reside. Boric acid serves as a potent natural pest control option, killing silverfish and their eggs when strategically placed.
By employing a combination of professional pest control solutions and DIY strategies, silverfish can be effectively managed and eliminated from your home.
Are Silverfish Asexual?
Most springtails and silverfish reproduce sexually, involving the union of sperm and egg for fertilization. This contrasts with some other hexapods, such as bees and aphids, which can utilize asexual reproductive methods like cloning. Silverfish undergo six to seven molts during their immature stages before reaching adulthood, and adults continue to molt multiple times without a fixed number of instars.
Physically, silverfish are spindle-shaped and flat, allowing them to navigate tight spaces. They are gray with a metallic sheen, earning them the nickname "silver ladies," and are covered with scales that detach easily.
Silverfish exhibit a complex mating ritual. When a male and female initiate mating, they begin by touching antennae and engage in a back-and-forth retreat while vibrating their antennae, abdomens, and tails. This courtship dance can last up to half a minute. Unlike many true insects that copulate, silverfish males deposit sperm packets, which females then place into their vaginas. The eggs are oval and whitish, typically laid in concealed locations.
These insects inhabit cryptic environments beneath bark and subterranean areas such as animal burrows, caves, and ant or termite nests. While they generally require high humidity, some species can survive in less moist conditions. Silverfish are primary pests of paper and related products, feeding on materials containing starch, dextrin, casein, gum, and glue. They are also cannibalistic, consuming their own cast skins and dead or injured individuals, and can attack leather and other organic materials.
In terms of development, silverfish undergo simple metamorphosis, a trait of primitive wingless insects. Although primarily sexual reproducers, there have been instances of parthenogenesis, or asexual reproduction, observed in silverfish. This adaptability in reproductive strategies helps them thrive in various environments.
Is It Okay To Squish Silverfish?
Squishing a silverfish might offer a temporary sense of relief, but their populations can expand quickly, making them hard to catch. Unlike centipedes, they lack the ability to bite humans due to their weak jaws. These small insects, about ½ to ¾ inch long, have fragile bodies and tend to leave a gray smudge when squished. Despite being easy to crush, using this method for control isn't effective for long-term solutions. Silverfish prefer humid environments and tend to be nocturnal, making prevention key to managing infestations.
While silverfish do not pose health risks or transmit diseases to humans, they can damage items like book bindings. Interestingly, silverfish can live several months to up to five years, prompting humor about them as potential pets, despite their paper-eating habits. For more effective management, consider alternatives like diatomaceous earth, a natural pesticide that helps eliminate silverfish and other pests.
Although they may cause issues if you possess valuable items, silverfish are not harmful to your health and are often regarded as mere nuisances. Their quick movement adds to the difficulty of capturing them. Instead of relying solely on squishing, focus on comprehensive strategies for elimination and prevention to deal with potential infestations. If you spot a silverfish, rinsing materials and squashing them can help reduce their numbers.

Hey System, I’d recommend using a vanilla dispenser with a bucket of water in the back to remove the weed on your peaceful mob spawner 5×5. You just need a RFTools timer in the back and you don’t need to worry about grass getting in the way of your animals mob farm. Sadly for me no only my Instance start to crash since yesterday every time I try start the game, but while I was still able to play those mob grinders stop dropping loot chest. Now only industrial foregoing you can get the drops. I know because at some point you will need blaze blood and is basically the only way you can get it. Maybe you could setup a tinker smeltery on a loaded chunk inside the Nether Ring dungeons and then transport back the blaze blood to use to smelt some items, is the only way to automate. It was basically the last thing I did before the game start crashing every time. My computer can handle the game fine, is probably the last update that corrupt some files? Or maybe is trying to initialized something that was change in name? I have no idea, the game was running just fine then I’d close to go afk, when I comeback and try to start the game again the instances start to crash.
the wireless card thing for Powah gets right clicked to link it to the player after crafting it, then clicked on an enderman to make it interdimensional. The reason you couldn’t see how to link it was because you already had it linked (you right clicked it once when trying to click the enderman and that linked it, then you clicked at the enderman again and it upgraded it). So, basically you had already linked it without realizing it 😛
If you want to get early EMC, in my world I have a bunch of coal chickens feeding into a crafter for Aeternalis Fuel which you can use to auto craft Klein star and the power flowers. I setup a Klein star in an antimatter relay with high tier energy collectors around it and I got 52 million EMC in it super fast. Never will run out. Makes all the boss fights super easy
nice but i dont like the broken talk hmm u can chose not to use them. if to go that route then auto hammer not needing power broken, func. storage void upgrade broken, ender chests broken, cobblestone gen not needing power broken and so on oo aa its modded mincraft. e. in end of the day we all want and will use flight.
Finally caught up! Like you, Stoneblock2 is one of if not my most favorite pack of all time so was excited to get into this one and have been enjoying perusal how you do it! I had a thought a few episodes ago that I figured I’d share. You seem to have a lot of knowledge about modded so you probably already know this, but in one pack (can’t remember which but I think it was in 1.16) I fully automated Powah! on demand with RS pointing a crafter into a chest, then used whatever item transport to move the recipe items in and the finished items out of the power chamber thing. Sorry I can’t remember any names 😛 It’s how I used to do it with Actually Additions back in the day. But I saw you use the AE2 version of that chest interface on your rainbow generator so I bet it would work with AE2 also. But how you did it was also cool. I love how many different ways there are to do things.
